When and where is the #OhioTechSummit?
Thursday, May 16, 2024 in Columbus at The Ohio State University’s Ohio Union. The Summit kicks off at 8:45 AM and concludes at 5:00 PM.
Our main session will be held in the Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom.

What is the Summit’s 2024 theme?
The Summit’s theme is “Emerging Technologies.” The Summit will examine the impact of emerging technologies on Ohio and how our people, companies, and ideas are shaping the future. Breakouts will include content such as FinTech, HealthTech, ManufacturingTech, AI, Blockchain, and more.

Who should attend the Summit?
Professionals and companies passionate about the growth of Ohio tech sector. The Summit includes high-profile speakers, networking opportunities, and brings together leaders from across the state (and beyond).
The first two #OhioTechSummit’s have both been sell outs.
What is the recommended attire?
Wear whatever you’re most comfortable in. Attendees will most likely dress between business casual and business attire. You’ll also probably see a bunch of attendees in our Silicon Heartland or Built in Ohio shirts.
About the Summit
Who is OhioX (the host)?
OhioX is a statewide tech trade association. As a 501c6 non-profit, our work centers around connecting, promoting, and advocating for tech and innovation in Ohio. Our member companies make our work possible and they include: Fortune 500 companies, tech businesses, startups, universities, hospital systems, and more.

Full day access to #OhioTechSummit (last year was sold out!)

Can I volunteer?
Yes! We get asked often if we have volunteer opportunities. To be eligible to volunteer, we ask that you can commit to being at the Summit all day (from 6:30 am to 5 pm). We’ll give you a free ticket, food, and beverage for being with us. If you’re interested, please email hello@ohiox.org.
Are you taking speaker nominations?
We get speaker nominations and recommendations all year - we host a lot of events. We don’t have a speaker nomination process but if you’re interested, please email us at hello@ohiox.org with the speaker name, topics you’d like to present, why you’d make a great speaker, examples of previous speaking engagements, and any other examples to help stand out.

Travel and accommodations
I’m coming from out of town, where should I stay?
The Summit is on the campus of Ohio State and there are many great hotels in the area. Ohio State’s on campus hotel is The Blackwell (so once you’re in town there’s no additional parking required). We also recommend the Grandview area and the Short North.
